Cookie Day 2009

Christmas Card Photoshoot

I had a great time shooting photos for our Christmas card this year. Had the idea to have the three grandkids hold letters to spell J-O-Y. To make it work, I had to shoot each child individually, create the image for in Publisher, save it as a jpg. and then send it out to Sam's for production.

This is the final result.

Snowed In

This is sweet Ellery on day 2 of the gigantic snowstorm. With Dean away in DC for the weekend, Erin and Ellery camped out here for the storm. Then Caroline and her kids came for a quick visit and couldn't get home! That was on Friday, December 18th. That night, Pei spent 5 hours getting home from work downtown! On Saturday evening, he lost power and WALKED the 4 miles to our house in the raging blizzard! What fun! We were trapped like rats until Monday, when we could finally shovel out the cars. Caroline, by the way, is great with a snow shovel!

Welcome to a new blog where I will post my life in photos. Think I'll go back a week or two and start with the days before Christmas. We had an unbelievable 30-hour snowstorm the week before Christmas. We still have plenty of snow out there.
